During the period from 2012 to 2015, implementation of Shymkent Refinery Modernization and Reconstruction Project  is planned at PKOP LLP. In the course of which Diesel Fuel Hydrotreatment Unit will be reconstructed, and two, new, Sulfur and Light Naphtha Isomerization Units will be put into operation.
New and reconstructed units are needed to be staffed with the engineering and technical and operating personnel having a set of corresponding abilities and professional skills.
 Production training is an important tool in preparation of workers for the new facilities.
The main objective of this training for workers is to study the specifics of the production, familiarization with production processes on the operating facilities, to train for active and independent actions by the example of more experienced colleagues, the practical mastering of theoretical knowledge directly at the workplace, mastering job execution skills and also, mastering safe methods of work.
According to the order of JSC "KazMunayGas-RM", three oil refineries of Kazakhstan - Atyrau, Pavlodar and Shymkent, have developed and approved the Schedule of production training at the related enterprises. During the period from 2014 to 2015, all three refineries will send their workers or will give opportunity for production training at other related oil refineries of RK.
Training programs on each unit are developed together with Atyrau Refinery and Pavlodar Petrochemical Plant, and approved by JSC KazMunayGas – Refining – Marketing.
In May – June, 2013, 16 employees of PKOP LLP’s Workshop #2 have had their training at Sulfur Recovery Unit of Atyrau Refinery.
According to the agreement with JSC "CNPC AktobeMunayGas" at Zhanazhol Oil and Gas Complex of JSC "CNPC AMG" production training of PKOP LLP’s Workshop No.2 workers on the Sulfur Unit’s Gas Processing Workshop-3 during the following terms:
1st group in number of 6 people during 19.05.2014 - 30.05.2014.
2nd group in number of 6 people during 04.06.2014 - 18.06.2014.
3rd group in number of 6 people during 23.06.2014 - 06.07.2014.
According to the Training Schedule agreed with JSC KMG-RM, from May 26 to June 6, 2014, the group of PKOP LLP workers in number of 9 people is about to be sent to Atyrau Refinery’s Isomerization Unit. According to the Training Schedule 3 more groups of 8-9 people will be sent for training. In total, Atyrau Refinery’s Isomerization Unit shall provide a production training for 30 people this year.
